Police Issue Urgent Missing Person Alert For At-Risk 84-Year-Old

The NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services & Yonkers police are asking for help finding a missing man who suffers from dementia.

YONKERS, NY — The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services and the Yonkers Police Department are asking for the public's help finding a missing at-risk 84-year-old.

Jacinto Carlos Campos-Tovar's last known whereabouts were near Elm Street around 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Campos-Tovar has been diagnosed with dementia and may need medical attention, according to a Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert posted by the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services Monday afternoon.

Authorities are circulating a recent photograph of Campos-Tovar, who is described as Hispanic, 5'08", 180 lb, with brown eyes and white hair. He was wearing a black hat with "America" written on the front in yellow stitching, a navy blue long-sleeve button-up shirt, green pants and brown shoes when he was last seen. Campos-Tovar is believed to be on foot.

Yonkers police are asking anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Jacinto Carlos Campos-Tovar to call 914-377-7900. In case of an emergency, dial 911.
