Stew Leonard's Recalls Some Baked Goods Containing Apple
The products were sold in the Stew Leonard's bakery department at the Yonkers store as well as in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Long Island.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — On Friday, Stew Leonard’s announced it is voluntarily recalling its Apple Crisp made with Honeycrisp Apples (whole and half pies) and its No Sugar Apple Pie.
The items are being voluntarily recalled because the products are mislabeled, according to the company. The Apple Crisp made with Honeycrisp Apples may contain undeclared milk and the No Sugar Added Apple Pie may contain undeclared eggs.

The products were sold in Stew Leonard’s bakery department between August 28, 2023 – March 8, 2024.

The products were sold at Stew Leonard’s seven locations: Danbury, Norwalk, Newington, East Meadow, Farmingdale, Paramus and here in Yonkers.
The grocery chain said that no illnesses have been reported to date. The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the products containing milk and eggs were distributed in packaging that did not list the presence of milk and eggs. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
