Taking A Live Tour Of The Heavens

The Hudson River Museum Planetarium offers an interactive show that tours the night sky.

The Sky Tonight program at the Hudson River Planetarium takes visitors on a tour of the night sky as it appears the night of their visit.

A planetarium instructor will conduct the tour and offer information on the stars and planets.

The program takes place from 2 to 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 9.

Funded by the New York State Council of the Humanities, The Sky Tonight program is part of several created by the planetarium to celebrate Earth Day and Astronomy Month.

Planetarium program tickets cost an additional fee above the entrance to the museum. The fee is $4 for adults, $2 for children, 3 to 18, as well as seniors and students with ID; free to members and children younger than 3.

The program is suitable for children, 8 years and older.
