Webster Bank Supports Championship Soccer League
Webster bankers will present a $10,000 sponsorship to the Lansdowne Bhoys Football Club on Friday, April 22.

On Friday, April 22, Webster bankers will present a $10,000 sponsorship to the Lansdowne Bhoys Football Club (LBFC), a soccer club founded by Irish immigrants. The team is the reigning champions of the Cosmopolitan League, one of the largest leagues in the United States and is currently chasing three consecutive championships.
LBFC also provides coaches for youth soccer programs in Yonkers and the North Bronx and has recently signed an
international partnership with Scottish soccer giants Glasgow Celtic Football Club. LBFC is committed to ensuring
that youngsters in the community get the chance to advance their soccer skills, pursue college scholarships and
perhaps realize the dream of wearing a USA soccer jersey on the world stage.

The sponsorship will take place with Business Banking Vice-President and Senior Relationship Manager Jim Lanfranchi, Lansdowne Bhoys Football Club President William McGory and Westchester County Deputy Executive Kevin Plunkett at 760 McLean Ave. in Yonkers at 6:30 p.m.
