Clarkstown Planning Board To Hold Hearings Wednesday

CLARKSTOWN, NY — The Clarkstown Planning Board has three hearings on its agenda for Wednesday, in addition to a list of referrals for consideration and review.

The hearings:

• Proposed lot merger and demolition of existing buildings to construct a 5,228 square-foot Chick-Fil-A restaurant with dual drive-thru lanes and additional site improvements. The proposal includes 79 parking spaces with 15 additional spaces in reserve. The property is located on 2.65 acres of RS and PO land on the northwest corner of the intersection of NYS Route 59 and College Avenue in Nanuet.
• The construction of multiple additions to Intercos Warehouse, an existing 99,858 square foot light manufacturing facility in Congers, is proposed. The proposed additions total 106,819 square feet, with the proposed building totaling 206,677 square feet. 271 paved parking spaces are proposed with an additional 422 parking spaces in reserve. The property is located on 17.78 acres of CO zoned land on the east side of Route 303, approximately 435 feet south of Hemlock Drive in Congers.
• The Islamic Center of Rockland County proposes a 1,745 square foot addition to the existing 9,600 square foot building and the construction of a new, two story 29,200 square foot building on the upper area of the property with 204 parking spaces. The property is located on 14.42 acres of R160 zoned land on the east side of Mountainview Avenue, opposite Bellview Avenue in Valley Cottage.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Town Hall auditorium, 10 Maple Ave. in New City.
