Last week, FEMA hosted a workshop in Stony Point for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. For those that missed that can catch another one, but will have to travel a bit. FEMA scheduled two more on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m..  One will be at Carmel in Putnam County and the other in Newburgh/Orange County. <ul> <li>Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services—112 Old Route 6, Carmel, NY 10512</li> <li>City Historian's Building—123 Grand St., Newburgh, NY 12550</li> </ul> These events are opportunities for anyone living in the six lower Hudson Valley counties where the Sandy disaster was declared  to attend, to get free help with their applications, have their questions about FEMA and SBA assistance answered, one-on-one, according to FEMA. These are the counties where residents are eligible to be considered for federal assistance: <ul> <li>Putnam</li> <li> Orange</li> <li>Sullivan</li> <li>Ulster   </li> <li>Westchester</li> <li>Rockland</li> </ul>
