• One Fatality Confirmed in Vehicle and Pedestrian Accident in Rockland County (wrrv.com) — A Nanuet resident and off-duty NYPD officer was involved in a fatal vehicle–pedestrian crash early December 18 on the I-87 southbound Exit 14 ramp in Clarkstown. State Police say the driver tried to avoid a stopped car in the acceleration lane but struck the pedestrian, who died at the scene; the driver was treated at Nyack Hospital and the ramp later reopened.
