Wonder To Open Its First 'New Kind Of Food Hall' Location In Rockland
The unique concept coming to Nanuet lets diners order from a selection of restaurants and chefs in a single delivery or to-go order.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — If you have trouble agreeing on where to pick up dinner, a new Nanuet business might have just solved a problem for you.
A new concept food hall that allows diners to choose dishes from fine dining restaurants created by celebrity chefs is opening its first Rockland location at 44 Rockland Plaza in Nanuet.
During the Grand Opening on Thursday, a ribbon-cutting will take place at 4:30 p.m., and doors will open at 5 p.m. The first 100 customers will receive a complimentary gift.

Wonder currently operates 42 locations throughout the New York City metro area, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
The company started its expansion into the Hudson Valley last year. Its first Westchester County location, in Larchmont, opened in July. The Scarsdale location arrived in September, followed by the West Harrison business, in October. The company's fourth Westchester location opened in Pleasantville last month.

The Nanuet location will expand the company's delivery zone.
Wonder, the decidedly different kind of food hall with a "fast fine" dining, delivery-first concept, says that it features some of the world's best chefs, including Bobby Flay, Jose Andres, Nancy Silverton, Marcus Samuelsson, along with award-winning restaurants from across the country, including Tejas Barbeque and Di Fara Pizza.
Customers will be able to order any combination of these chefs and restaurants all together in one order from a single location. Everything is made-to-order at the Wonder storefront and delivered to your door in under 30 minutes, allowing the company "to bring an elevated, curated dining experience to you every time."
While the store focuses on quick delivery of an eclectic range of fine dining options, pick-up and limited dine-in options will also be available.
Wonder Nanuet will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The location will offer dishes from over 15 restaurants, including: Limesalt, Tejas Barbecue, Fred's Meat & Bread, Yasas by Michael Symon, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Burger Baby, Wing Trip, Alanza Pizza, Room for Dessert, Alanza, Detroit Brick Pizza Co., Royal Greens, Hanu Poke, Di Fara Pizza, Bellies (kids), Bobby Flay Steak, The Mainstay by Marc Murphy, Walnut Lane, and Maydan.
The delivery zone for the Nanuet location includes the following zip codes: 07645, 10913, 10954, 10956, 10960, 10962, 10965, 10977, 10989 and 10994.

The company has a Wonder+ membership program that includes no delivery fees on all Wonder orders, Fast Pass expedited delivery and pickup and exclusive access to promotions, experiences and perks, for $7.99 per month.
Wonder is owned by Wonder Group, a consortium founded in 2018 by entrepreneur and former Walmart e-commerce head Marc Lore. He founded the e-commerce startup Jet.com, which he sold to Walmart for $3.3 billion in 2016. In September of 2023, the Wonder Group acquired the meal kit delivery service Blue Apron for $103 million. The company recently received $100 million in backing from Nestle, according to CNBC, as part of a move to enter the high-end kitchen appliance market.
