10 Wounded In NYC Nightclub Shooting, Suspects Still At Large

About 15 people were standing outside the nightclub waiting to get in when four men ​approached the line and opened fire on the group.

NEW YORK CITY — Ten people were left injured after a shooting outside a New York City nightclub Wednesday night.

The incident happened outside the Amazura event hall, located at 91-12 144th Place in Jamaica, around 11:20 p.m., police said.

About 15 people were standing outside the nightclub waiting to get in when four men approached the line and opened fire on the group, police said.

The gunmen fired over 30 shots in the direction of the group, according to NYPD Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera.

Six females and four males were shot and taken to area hospitals, police said. The victims are expected to recover.

The gunmen fled on foot westbound on 91st Street towards 143rd Place and were last seen getting into a sedan with out-of-state plates, police said.

No arrests have been made, and all four gunmen remain at large as of Thursday afternoon.
