13-Year-Old Boy, 3 Others Attacked And Stabbed Man In Times Square

NEW YORK CITY — A 13-year-old boy was arrested and charged after he and three others stabbed and attacked a 23-year-old man in Times Square this past weekend.

The incident happened on Sunday around 9 p.m. at West 40th Street and Seventh Avenue, police said.

The 13-year-old and the other suspects approached the victim and apparently asked him to take a photo of them, according to a New York Post report.

When the victim said no, the group began hitting him in the face and stabbed him in the back and leg.

The crew tried to steal the victim's cellphone but were unsuccessful, cops said.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The other three suspects are still at large as of Tuesday afternoon, police said.
