2 People Killed By Subway Trains In Separate NYC Incidents
The identities of the two people have not been released pending family notification.
NEW YORK CITY — Two people were fatally struck by subway trains in separate incidents in Brooklyn and Manhattan over the weekend, the MTA and police said.
The first incident happened at the Sutter Avenue Station in East New York around 6 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
A man reportedly fell onto the southbound tracks and was hit by an L train.

The second incident happened at the East Broadway Station on the Lower East Side in Manhattan around 7 p.m., police said.
An individual fell onto the tracks as a train pulled into the station, police said.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Additional details on the two incidents have not been released.
