2 People Shot In The Head In Attempted Murder-Suicide: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY — Two people were shot and wounded in an apparent attempted murder-suicide in Brooklyn Tuesday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a home on Jefferson Avenue in Bushwick around 7:30 a.m. where they found a 41-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to the head.

Police are probing the incident as an attempted murder-suicide, with the man shooting the woman before turning the gun himself, according to a New York Daily News report.

The 41-year-old man was transported to Woodhull Hospital, while the 32-year-old woman was sent to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. Both individuals are listed in critical condition.
