2 Teens Arrested For Taking NYC Subway Train On Joyride
A 15-year-old and 17-year-old boy were arrested with charges pending. Four other suspects were still at large.
NEW YORK CITY — Two teen have been arrested and charged after they along with four others stole a subway train in Brooklyn and took it for a joyride last week.
A 15-year-old and 17-year-old boy were arrested on Monday, police said. They have both charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
The incident happened on Jan. 25 around 10:20 p.m. at the 36th Street and 4th Avenue subway station in Sunset Park, police said.

A group of six individuals gained entry to an unoccupied "R" train and then proceeded to operate the train down a tunnel.
The group also damaged glass panels on the train's camera before getting off the train and fleeing on foot, police said.

An MTA employee reported the incident to police, who responded to the scene.
The four other suspects were still at large on Monday, police said.
No other arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
