6 Dead In NYC Mayhem, Including Fatal Bodega, East Village Stabbings
A man was stabbed at a bodega Saturday night and three people were stabbed in the East Village Sunday evening, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — Six people died and several more were injured as part of this weekend’s violence around New York City.
The first incident happened Friday afternoon at the 175 Street and Fort Washington Subway Station in Washington Heights when police found local musician Johnny Medina, 40, with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
Medina was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem where he was pronounced dead, police said. 24-year-old Diego Figueroa-Hepner was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the slaying the following day.

On Saturday just before 9 a.m., a woman was found dead inside her Queens condo on 58th Avenue in Little Neck “with visible signs of trauma to her back,” police said. A cause of death has yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
Less than an hour later, a 63-year-old man was found with a stab wound to the chest in the Soundview section of the Bronx, police said. The victim, later identified as Reynaldo Luna of Morris Heights, was rushed to NYC Health and Hospital/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead.

A 52-year-old woman, Mirda Degracia, who lived at the Soundview address where Luna was found, was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon on Sunday, police said.
On Saturday night, a man was stabbed inside inside a bodega in Jamaica about 9:40 p.m., police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple stab wounds to the neck and shoulder. No arrests have been made to date.
A 56-year-old woman was found unconscious Saturday night at the StarBright Family Residence family homeless shelter in Canarsie, where she was later pronounced dead, police said. No arrests have been made to date.
Sunday evening saw a triple stabbing in broad daylight in the East Village about 5:43 p.m., police said. A 38-year-old victim sustained fatal neck wounds in the bloodshed near Avenue A and East 14th Street; a 32-year-old man was stabbed in the back and a 51-year-old woman was stabbed in the leg, police said.
All three individuals were rushed to NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue, where the 51-year-old woman is listed in critical condition and the 32-year-old man is listed in stable condition, police said.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene where a “cutting instrument” was recovered.
