6 Men Shot Near NYC Park, 2 Suspects At Large: NYPD

THE BRONX, NY — Two gunmen shot 6 men near a Bronx park Wednesday night, police said.

The incident happened in the vicinity of East 191st Street and Morris Avenue near St. James Park at around 8 p.m., police said.

Two unknown men who had been on a scooter walked up to the group of six men and fired nine rounds, injuring them, police said.

The victims are in their 20s and 30s, police said.

They suffered gunshot wounds to the stomach, hand, torso, arm, leg and groin.

All who were shot are expected to survive, police said.

No arrests have been made, an investigation remains ongoing.
