9/11 20th Anniversary In NYC: How To Watch Saturday's Ceremonies
A "reading of the names" at the 9/11 Memorial and the iconic "Tribute in Light" are among the commemorations set for Saturday's anniversary.

NEW YORK, NY — At gatherings around the five boroughs on Saturday, New Yorkers will mark a solemn occasion: the 20th anniversary of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 that took nearly 3,000 lives.
The most prominent event will be the annual ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, in which the name of each victim will be read aloud. The memorial will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. — the moment the first plane struck the World Trade Center's north tower.
It will run through about 1 p.m., with a visit from President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden expected at some point during the day.
