Actor Steve Buscemi Randomly Punched On NYC Street, Police Say
The man who walloped the "Fargo" star in the face last week along a Kips Bay street remains on the loose, authorities said.
NEW YORK CITY — "The Big Lebowski" actor Steve Buscemi was randomly punched in the face during a nihilistic attack along a New York City street, police said.
The attacker remained on the loose days after the May 8 beating, which sent Buscemi to the hospital for bleeding, bruising and swelling to his left eye, authorities said.
NYPD officials first released details on the random attack May 9, but New Yorkers didn't know its connection to Buscemi until a report Sunday in the New York Post.
