Alternate-Side Parking Suspended Ahead Of 'Bomb Cyclone' Storm
Parking meter rules will still be in effect on Thursday and Friday.

NEW YORK, NY — Alternate-side parking rules will be suspended Thursday and Friday as a so-called "bomb cyclone" storm drops snow on New York City, the Department of Transportation said Wednesday.
New Yorkers won't have to move their cars for typical street cleaning so the Department of Sanitation can focus on snow removal, officials said.

You'll still have to feed the meter, as parking meter rules will still be in effect both days, the Department of Transportation said.
A hurricane-like storm is expected to drop three to six inches of snow on the five boroughs starting early Thursday morning, followed by bone-chilling cold on Friday and Saturday.

New York City will be under a winter storm watch from late Wednesday night through Thursday evening.
