NEW YORK CITY — A new ice cream product will be available at a pop-up store in Brooklyn this week with a flavor "just like mom used to make."

New York-based ice cream company, OddFellows, along with product company Frida, is selling a limited-time batch of breast milk-flavored ice cream.

While the ice cream is not made with breast milk, it does have many of the same nutrients, according to Frida.

"The flavor is freshly expressed and oddly familiar – sweet, salty, and smooth – with hints of honey and many of the nutrients included in breast milk," Frida said in an announcement.

The limited-edition ice cream is available from Aug. 5 to Aug. 10 at the Frida Breast Milk Ice Cream Pop Up at 44 Water St. in Brooklyn. Pints are also available for purchase on Frida’s website.
