Suzanne has been teaching self contained special education for 23 years in the Bronx. She travels daily from Southbury CT. She loves her students and has a passion for teaching that shines through her students. She is often commuting over an hour and a half but her love for both Southbury, and her students keeps her going. she has two more years until she retires with 25 years of teaching and deserves so much praise for all she does with her students!!! She should know all the little things she does to make her students feel special, are amazing and makes a kid smile each and every day.
