Featuring Cookbook Author Diane Kochilas and Executive Chef Roel Alcudia of House of Stefas
Join prolific Greek cookbook author Diane Kochilas, whose latest release is entitled Athens: Food, Stories, Love., and executive chef Roel Alcudia of House of Stefas, for a dinner built around the captivating Athenian table.
Drawing on more than three decades of living and cooking in Athens, Kochilas offers a rare insider's perspective on the city's dynamic culinary identity, where global influences meet deeply rooted Greek traditions. Inspired by the vision of House of Stefas founders John and Paul Stefanopoulos, chef Alcudia brings his modern approach to Greek cuisine, rooted in the exceptional bounty of the Hudson Valley farms that surround their Millbrook restaurant. Together, Kochilas and Alcudia will create a forward-thinking expression of Greek food: ingredient driven, imaginative, and connected to heritage. The evening will echo the lively spirit of the Greek table, overflowing with food, wine, warmth, and effortless conviviality.
Copies of Athens: Food, Stories, Love. will be available for purchase with tickets or at the event from our friends at Kitchen Arts & Letters.
This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.
