Cops Searching for 2 Men Responsible For 55 NYC Robbery Incidents

The incidents took place in Harlem, Upper West Side, Washington Heights, Inwood and The Bronx. 15 different precincts have open cases.

NEW YORK CITY — The NYPD are continuing to search for one or two people who allegedly has been responsible for 55 robbery incidents citywide that began this summer.

The incidents took place in Harlem, Upper West Side, Washington Heights, Inwood and The Bronx. 15 different precincts had reported incidents, police said.

The robbery spree began on June 19, with the latest incident occurring on Oct. 16.

The suspects used a black moped in their robbery spree, police said.

In their latest incident, on Oct. 16 in front of 1366 White Plains Road, one suspect approached a 60-year-old woman and snatched her necklace.

The NYPD has not released additional information on the other robbery incidents. A more detailed description of the suspects was not readily available.
