CPC Manhattan Family Day Fair 2025 Brings Together Hundreds of Community Members
Annual event connects families with vital health, wellness, and social services
New York, NY -- The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) hosted its Annual Family Day Fair community event on Saturday, September 20, 2025, organized by CPC's Manhattan Community Services team. The event brought together hundreds of individuals and families for a day of interactive games and activities designed to educate and entertain attendees of all ages, while encouraging families to spend time together and foster supportive community relationships.
More than 20 partner agencies participated alongside CPC's own social service programs, providing valuable information and resources on health, wellness, and social services available to community members. In partnership with EmblemHealth, CPC distributed bags of fresh produce to the first 200 attendees as part of a special food distribution activity, addressing food security needs in the community.
These services include accessible benefits for low-income residents and non-English speaking families, predominantly in Chinese neighborhoods, with programming that encompasses Asian Family Services, Community Health Services, Early Childhood Learning & Wellness Services, and Multi Social Services. CPC's multilingual counselors and staff members provided proactive assistance, supporting individuals and families through accessible and compassionate care.
