1. Woman Found Dead In Garbage Bag

A woman was found dead in a trash bag on a sidewalk in East Harlem on Monday, according to police.

When officers arrived, they found an unidentified woman inside a trash bag lying on the sidewalk, unconscious and unresponsive, in Harlem Monday evening.

2. 1 Person Killed In Fire At NYC Home

A woman was killed, and two firefighters were injured after a fire in Queens on Monday, the FDNY said.

Around seventy firefighters responded to the scene. The blaze started on the first floor of a home on 26th Avenue.

3. Serial Slasher In Brooklyn Tied To Separate Burglary Case

A Brooklyn man nabbed for an unusual apartment burglary is now suspected of a weekend slashing spree that injured three people, authorities said.

The 27-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly setting a fire in a Flatbush apartment building’s laundry room, has now been charged in connection with the weekend slashing attacks, authorities said.

4. Second Suspect Charged In Connection With Deadly Shooting At NYC Park

A second suspect wanted in the killing of a man in a New York City park last month turned himself in to police on Monday.

The 19-year-old and a 20-year-old suspect are accused of attempting to rob a 26-year-old man before fatally shooting him in the chest.
