Doctors Without Borders Seeks Donations for Holidays

Doctors Without Borders welcomes community contributions to help provide care for those in need this holiday season.

NEW YORK, NY - Each holiday season, thousands of MSF field workers will volunteer their time to help those affected by crises in nearly 70 countries around the world. This year our teams onboard three ships in the central Mediterranean Sea have rescued over 17,000 people; in Haiti they have conducted medical consultations with more than 2,500 patients in 27 villages and communities; in Tanzania, MSF is working in three refugee camps, where almost 140,000 refugees are residing after fleeing violence in their home country; and MSF continues to remotely support the eight remaining health facilities in east Aleppo, where 270,000 people are living under siege.
