FDNY Battles Boat Fire at Great Kills Harbor, 2 Firefighters Injured
About 25 units and 106 Fire and EMS personnel responded to the fire.
NEW YORK CITY — The FDNY battled a massive fire that destroyed multiple boats at Great Kills Harbor on Staten Island Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the scene around 4:38 a.m. at 112 Mansion Ave between Great Kills Road and McKee Avenue, according to the FDNY.
About 25 units and 106 Fire and EMS personnel responded to the fire.

Two firefighters sustained minor injuries and were transported to Staten Island University Hospital – North Campus.
At around 9:57 a.m., the fire was placed under control.
