Firefighters Rescue 3 People From Rocks At Coney Island Beach

Firefighters rescued three people who got stuck on rocks leading out to the water at a Coney Island beach Saturday.

It happened around 6 p.m. near Stillwell and Surf avenues.

There were strong rip currents in the area, but it’s unclear if that was the reason they got stuck.
