Flood Advisory Issued As Storm Threatens Hail In NYC

NEW YORK – A flood advisory has been issued for New York City as a "strong thunderstorm" nears the city. The advisory was issued at 2:51 p.m. Tuesday.

The storm could bring nickel-sized hail and 40 mph winds, along with torrential rain, the National Weather Service warned.

The advisory is in place until 3:45 p.m.
