Gov Ball 2019 Lineup Features Lil Wayne, The Strokes, SZA

New York City's largest three-day music festival will return to Randall's Island on the weekend of May 31.

NEW YORK, NY — New York City's biggest music festival, The Governors Ball, is returning to Randall's Island on the weekend of May 31 and will feature some of the music industry's biggest names.

The festival announced its lineup this week and headlining acts include Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Florence + The Machine, Major Lazer, The Strokes, Nas and SZA. Other popular artists performing during the festival include Kacey Musgracez, Vince Staples, Ty Dolla $ign and Charli XCX.

Many of this year's artists hail from New York City including Brooklyn rappers Joey Bada$$ and the Flatbush Zombies performing as Beast Coast and Harlem's Sheck Wes — whose breakout song "Mo Bamba" went viral in 2018 a year after its release.
