Here's How To Call Santa From An NYC Street Corner

You can leave a voicemail for St. Nick at any LinkNYC kiosk.

NEW YORK, NY — Need to make an urgent update to your Christmas wish list? Just find a LinkNYC kiosk. For the second straight year, the city's WiFi booths have a direct line to the North Pole that lets kids and adults alike leave a message for Santa Claus.

The touch-screen tablets on the roughly 1,200 LinkNYC kiosks across the city now have a "Tap to Call Santa" button that links callers to a line where they can leave a voicemail after hearing a message from St. Nick himself.

The kiosks' display screens will also show a countdown to Christmas Day, the last day to make calls to Santa.

"We are thrilled to offer parents the opportunity to help their kids reach Santa Claus this holiday season — just call him directly from any Link in the five boroughs and tell him what you want for Christmas," Jen Hensley, the president of Link, the company that runs the kiosks, said in a statement.

If you need to call someone important in your life who's not Santa Claus, LinkNYC kiosks also offer free phone calls to anywhere in the United States.
