A massive music festival in Brooklyn and the Columbus Day Parade down Fifth Avenue are just two of events you can do this weekend.

NEW YORK, NY — With pleasant fall weather expected this weekend in New York City, there is no shortage of fun things to do around the five boroughs.
From annual parades to music festivals and street fairs, there are lots of options for those looking to get out of the house this weekend.

Friday-Sunday
New York Comic Con: Javits Center, Manhattan
Comic Con kicked off on Thursday, but it's lasting through Sunday at the Javits Center.

Saturday
Panamanian Pre-Independence Day Parade and Festival: President Street and Classon Avenue, Brooklyn
The largest Panamanian parade in the world outside of the country itself is taking place this Saturday at noon.
The event celebrates and honors the Panamanian leaders, educators, artists, and celebrities that have left a footprint on the United States.
There will also be a festival at the end of the parade.

Astoria Columbus Day Parade: Astoria, Queens
Columbus Day Parade's will be taking place across the city this weekend, including in Astoria.
The parade will kick off at noon at Kaufman Studios and march up Steinway Street and then onto 31st Avenue. It will disperse on Astoria Boulevard between 31st Street and 32nd Street.
This appears to be an event you have to know about, as Patch was not able to find a website for the parade.
Sunday
Artmageddon: Flatbush, Brooklyn
The annual event is bringing together 150 Brooklyn-based artists and bands at more than 50 locations throughout Ditmas Park.
The event will run from noon to 6 p.m., primarily between Cortelyou and Beverley Roads between Stratford Road and Marlborough Road.

Hester Street Fair Vintage Day: Pier 17, Manhattan
The Vintage Day at the Seaport will take place at 89 South St. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be a live DJ, vintage vendors, dating advice booths, and paint-sculpting workshops. Anyone that comes are asked to wear fits from another time or find art and vinyls that bring you pure nostalgia.

Monday
Columbus Day Parade: Fifth Avenue, Manhattan
The 78th Annual Columbus Day Parade will march down Fifth Avenue on Monday.
The event will feature over 100 marching groups and travel from 44th Street to 72nd Street.
You can watch the parade on ABC 7 from noon to 3 p.m.
