Hizzoner's Haters List: Adams Says He Catalogs His Critics
"I have a list in my office," the mayor told reporters Tuesday.

NEW YORK CITY — You better watch out, Eric Adams critics —the mayor is making a list.
Hizzoner's haters list was apparently revealed by the mayor himself Tuesday during his first, itself much-criticized "off-topic" news conference.
When asked about groups that criticized Adams' upcoming trip to Central and South America, he brushed off their concerns.

Adams' reveal that he has his own version of former President Richard Nixon's infamous enemies list quickly raised eyebrows.
As the news conference closed, a reporter shouted out: "Mayor, do you have a list of haters hanging up in your office?"
Adams laughed, but he often doesn't take criticism or questioning in such good humor.
The one-day-a-week "off-topic" news conference itself was widely seen as a thin-skinned response by Adams to the questions he faces — and, indeed, all New York City mayors have faced — from reporters that don't relate to what he wants to talk about.
Indeed, Adams opened his inaugural off-topic questioning with a snipe toward reporters he finds irritating.
"Some of you, and I emphasize some of you, I enjoy seeing a lot," he said.
