Samuel Junker, 41, who last lived in a White Plains shelter, is accused of shoving a woman onto the tracks Tuesday, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A subway shover who broke a woman's leg is a homeless man, police said.
Police arrested Samuel Junker, 41, whose last address is a White Plains shelter, on Thursday — two days after an unprovoked attack inside the Chambers Street subway station.
Junker faces a felony assault charge on accusations he walked up behind a 34-year-old woman and violently pushed her onto the 1 line tracks, authorities said.

The woman suffered a fractured leg and had to be helped onto the platform by fellow straphangers before a train arrived, according to reports.
Video later released by NYPD officials showed a red-shirted man shuffling through a subway station they said was connected to the attack.
