Horatio Sanz Accuser Wants Jimmy Fallon, Tracy Morgan Added To Lawsuit

Fallon and Morgan perpetuated a "predatory" environment that enabled an SNL star to sexually abuse a teen, a lawsuit contends.

NEW YORK CITY — The woman who accused Horatio Sanz of sexually abusing her as a teenager wants to add Jimmy Fallon and Tracy Morgan's names to her lawsuit, new court filings show.

The fan, identified as Jane Doe in court documents, argues the "Saturday Night Live" stars and creator Lorne Michaels created the predatory party culture that made Sanz' abuse possible, according to the amended complaint filed this week.

At one after-after-party organized by Morgan in 2002, the complaint contends that Sanz kissed and groped 17-year-old Jane in front of "the majority of the SNL cast."

"Jane not only felt sexually humiliated and degraded, but her lifelong career aspirations of working at SNL ground to a halt," the complaint states.

"The entire SNL cast watched and her idols, Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch, laughed at her."

Other SNL cast members — Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph and Will Ferrell — reacted, respectively, with fright, disgust and unhappiness, the complaint states.

"Jane suffered lifelong trauma as a result of Sanz’s sexual abuse and all of those at NBC who enabled and condoned it," the complaint states.

"She was profoundly dehumanized as her heroes stood and laughed at her while her teenage body was violated. She felt like she would never be the same."

The new filing builds on her 2021 lawsuit against Sanz, who she said groomed her over AOL Instant Messenger and took her to alcohol-filled SNL events and parties.

Sanz's attorneys, in legal responses, denied the accusations.

An underage Jane, at other points, drank alcohol with Michaels and Fallon, who also exchanged messages with her and brought her into parties, the complaint states.

The lawsuit effectively contends that Michaels created an atmosphere where sexual harassment was rampant, and that Fallon, Morgan and Sanz perpetuated it.

It seeks to add them to the lawsuit under New York City’s Gender Motivated Violence Act, which allows claims that normally would have expired under the statute of limitations to be brought forward.

"NBC cultivated an environment in which young girls were systematically sexually exploited, harassed, and assaulted, all for the sick enjoyment of its celebrity stars," the complaint states.

"Yet, sitting here today, neither Fallon nor Sanz, nor Michaels, nor Morgan, nor anyone else at NBC, has suffered a single consequence for their actions."

Patch reached out to NBCUniversal for comment and a spokesperson provided this statement: “Regardless of Jane Doe’s changing narratives, NBC intends to renew its motion to dismiss."
