Inclement Weather Causing Delays At La Guardia Airport: FAA
Additional ground stops at area airports are still possible on Tuesday.
NEW YORK CITY — Inclement weather and thunderstorms are causing delays at La Guardia Airport, Tuesday afternoon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Flights at La Guardia are delayed an average of 52 minutes. A ground stop order had been previously issued Monday at the airport.
"Weather conditions have caused LGA Airport flight disruptions. Check with your airline to determine the status of your flight," read an X post.

The New York City is expected to get hit with rain showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday.
JFK Airport saw delays early Tuesday morning, which have since been cleared.
