Jennifer Lopez To Celebrate 50th Birthday With NYC Show

NEW YORK – Fresh from engagement to Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez turns 50 this year and she's celebrating with a new tour across North America.

Her "It's My Party: The Live Celebration" tour will perform in 24 cities, including New York City. The homecoming for The Bronx-born star will on July 12 at Madison Square Garden.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, Lopez said she and her team will go "all out" for the tour.

“My birthday’s in July, and so this summer I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday because it is a big birthday,” Lopez told Ellen.

The tour will also include the "World of Dance Experience," featuring surprise guest dance performances from Lopez' NBC dance show World of Dance.

The pop star's "All I Have" Las Vegas concert wrapped up in September. The birthday tour will be her first since the "Dance Again World Tour" in 2012 with Enrique Iglesias.

As of 2018, Lopez has sold more than 80 million records worldwide, including 40 million albums.
