John Mulaney Files For Divorce In NYC Court, Records Show
The comedian filed for divorce from Anna Marie Tendler, his wife of the past six years.

NEW YORK CITY — Comedian John Mulaney filed for divorce from Anna Marie Tendler, his wife of the past six years, in New York City, court records show.
Mulaney, 38, began divorce proceedings in New York Supreme Court Friday, about two months after the couple split and rumors spread that he'd begun a relationship with actress Olivia Munn.
"I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage," Tendler, 36, told People Magazine through a representative. "I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery."

The summons was filed as a "matrimonial - contested" case, which means the pair has not yet agreed on the terms of their divorce.
The couple confirmed their separation about seven months after Mulaney, who has battled alcohol and drug addiction for years, checked into a Philadelphia rehab clinic.

At the time, Munn took to Twitter to share her support for the actor's struggle.

Mulaney's career has taken him from Saturday Night Live to Broadway and the silver screen.
He is next slated to star in a Disney Plus remake of the television series "Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers," in which he will voice the crime-fighting chipmunk, Chip.
