Suspect Charged In Fatal NYC Stabbing, NYPD Says

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

NEW YORK CITY — A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing that killed one person in Queens back in May, police announced on Tuesday.

Carlos Castro Alvarado was arrested Tuesday afternoon and has also been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

The suspect is accused of stabbing Fabian Chimbo multiple times near 34th Avenue and 96th Street, Patch previously reported.
