Man Hurls Lit Firework At Sleeping Man On NYC Street: Cops
Video shows the man smiling moments before the firework explodes next to a man sleeping on a Harlem sidewalk.

NEW YORK CITY — A firework-hurling attacker is making a spectacle of himself, according to police.
A homeless man awoke on Lenox Avenue near West 113th Street Monday morning to find a man throwing a lit firework at him, said Chief Rodney Harrison.
The firework exploded and burned the homeless man's back, the NYPD Chief of Detectives said.

Video shows the man hurling the firework before turning and beaming at his friends who call out, "Oh!" moments before the explosion.
Earlier yesterday morning, a homeless male was sleeping on the sidewalk in front of 67 Lenox Avenue, in the confines of the 28 pct, when he was attacked. The male pictured above threw a lit firework on him, which exploded causing burns to the victims back. pic.twitter.com/gUZhbLznGT

Hours laster, police released footage of a suspect swinging a skateboard into the face of another man then turning toward the camera to give another eerie smile.
