Man Rapes Woman After Choking Her From Behind On NYC Street: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY — A shocking video shows a masked man use a belt to lasso a woman from behind on a New York City, choke her unconscious and drag her between two cars, where he raped her, according to police and reports.
The rape unfolded early May 1 as a 45-year-old woman strolled near East 152nd Street and Third Avenue in Bronx, authorities said.
An as-yet-unidentified man stalked up behind the woman about 5 a.m., NYPD officials said.

Graphic video obtained and published by the New York Post shows the moment the man lassoed the woman around the neck and pulled her to the ground. The video shows the man drag the woman's limp body between two cars.
The woman lost consciousness during the attack, during which the man raped her, police said.

The masked man ran off toward Melrose Avenue after the sexual assault, while the woman went to Lincoln Hospital for treatment, authorities said.
The suspect is a man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, who wore a black sweatshirt with white letters emblazoned with "GAP," white sweatpants and black-red-white sneakers, police said.
