NEW YORK CITY — A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the neck near City Hall in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday, police said.

The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. outside the city’s municipal building at 1 Centre St. The 19-year-old was attacked by an unknown individual, police said.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition, police said.
