NEW YORK CITY — New York State Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal is projected to be the next Manhattan Borough President.

Hoylman-Sigal defeated Seson Adams (Republican) and Rolando Gomez (Independent). The senator will replace Mark Levine, who won the race for city comptroller on Tuesday.

90 percent scanners counted

  • Brad Hoylman-Sigal (Democratic): 80.88 votes, or 384,280 percent of the vote
  • Seson Adams (Republican): 81,150 votes, or 17.1 percent of the vote
  • Rolando Gomez (Independent): 10,109 votes, or 2.1 percent of the vote
