Mayor Adams To Endorse Andrew Cuomo In NYC Mayoral Race
The endorsement comes after Cuomo participated in the final mayoral debate on Wednesday.

NEW YORK CITY — New York City Mayor Eric Adams is set to endorse former governor Andrew Cuomo in the mayoral race, according to reports.
"I can confirm that the Mayor will endorse former Governor Andrew M. Cuomo for mayor and intends to campaign alongside him," spokesperson Todd Shapiro said in a statement to multiple outlets.
Cuomo and Adams could be planning joint appearances, possibly later Thursday. Details have yet to be confirmed.

The endorsement comes after Cuomo participated in the final mayoral debate on Wednesday and was pictured sitting next to Adams at the Knicks home opener at Madison Square Garden.
Adams in previous weeks had teased that he would be open to endorsing either Cuomo or Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa.
