Mom Arrested 5 Years After Newborn Twins Were Found Dead: NYPD
The city's medical examiner concluded that the babies had been born hours earlier before their deaths.

NEW YORK CITY — The mother of twin babies found dead outside a New York City apartment building in 2020 has been arrested and charged, police announced on Friday.
Stephanie Castillo, 36, was charged with two counts of murder and manslaughter, police said.
Castillo is accused of killing the two babies on Nov. 9, 2020. A building superintendent found the bodies in a back alley. The twins were wrapped in plastic and had signs of blunt force trauma, according to multiple media reports.
