MTA Bus Seen Hanging Off NYC Overpass After Crash

NEW YORK CITY — The FDNY rescued an MTA bus driver after he lost control of a bus and collided with a stone guard rail and, leaving it dangling off the side of a New York City overpass Friday morning.

The incident happened around 9 a.m. on an overpass near the Henry Hudson Parkway at Kappock Street in the Bronx.

No passengers were riding the bus at the time of the incident, and the driver was not injured, police said.

The driver had been operating a BXM1 bus that runs express to and from Manhattan.
