New York To Hold State-Wide Moment Of Silence For George Floyd

New York State will hold a moment of silence 2 p.m. Thursday for George Floyd, coinciding with the start of his memorial service.

NEW YORK CITY — New York will hold a state-wide moment of silence at 2 p.m. Thursday for George Floyd, who was killed at the hands of Minneapolis police, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said during his daily news briefing.

The moment of silence will coincide with the start of Floyd's memorial service in Minnesota.
