NEW YORK CITY — A newborn girl was found abandoned outside a New York City apartment building over the weekend.
Police found the baby around 6 a.m. outside 1102 Reverend James Polite Ave. in the Bronx.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call about a crying baby, according to the New York Post.

The baby was transported to NYC Health and Hospital/Jacobi in stable condition, police said.
