Nor'easter Causing Disruptions, Delays At NYC Area Airports: What To Know
Some parts of the city saw up to 1.85 inches of rain on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
NEW YORK CITY — New York metro area airports are experiencing delays and cancellations as a Nor'easter makes it way through the region.
A ground stop was lifted at LaGuardia Airport Monday morning just before 11 a.m. There are currently delays of up to 30 minutes for departures due to winds, according to FlightAware.
For arrivals, flights are being delay by an average of 1 hour and 50 minutes — that could increase as the day goes on due to inclement weather.

In addition, all inbound flights are delayed at their origin destination an average of 3 hours 50 minutes due to wind.
At John F. Kennedy International Airport, departure flights are experiencing delays of 16 minutes to 30 minutes due to wind.

All inbound flights are being held at their origin until 2:45 p.m. due to wind, that could change throughout the day. There have been 154 delays on Monday at the airport and 15 cancellations so far.
LaGuardia Airport has had 558 delays on Monday and 157 cancellations.
