NYC Bracing for Coldest Weather of Fall Season So Far
We hope you got that outdoor seating out of your system, because winter's coming a little early.

NEW YORK, NY — Looks like it's already time to unpack the scarves and gloves: The city is bracing this week for its coldest weather since April.
The National Weather Service is predicting the high temperature on Tuesday will reach only 54 degrees — and the air will likely feel much colder that that, thanks to expected 13 mph to 20 mph winds throughout the day and evening.
The real cold settles in on Tuesday evening, though, when NYC temperatures are expected to dip into the 30s for the first time since April 10. It will be about 38 degrees overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, forecasters say, with more breeziness that will make the air feel like it's below freezing.

Things won't improve much for the Wednesday morning commute, when the wind chill is expected to make the air feel like it's 34 degrees.
The high temp on Wednesday may not make it out of the upper 40s, and the low will drop into the mid-30s again, forecasters say. And although the predicted high will climb back to55 degrees on Thursday, there's also a 50 percent chance of rain, ensuring total misery through the end of the week.
