Mark Levine Projected To Win NYC Comptroller Race: AP

NEW YORK CITY — Democrat Mark Levine is projected to win the race for New York City comptroller, according to the Associated Press.
Levine, the current Manhattan Borough President, will replace outgoing comptroller Brad Lander, who previously ran in the Democratic primary for mayor. Levine defeated Peter Kefalas (Republican) and Ismael Malave Perez (Independent).
"Thank you, New York City! Now let's get to work," Levine wrote in a post on X after the election was called.

- Mark Levine (Democratic): 1,372,050 votes, or 75 percent of the vote
- Peter Kefalas (Republican): 419,182 votes, or 22.9 percent of the vote
- Ismael Malave Perez (Independent): 38,801 votes or 2.1 percent of the vote
